My line is inspired by challenges in my everyday life as a plus sized person. I wish to create a strong foundation for plus sized people who want their wardrobe to work season after season and in different variations. The collection includes many pieces that can be styled into multiple combinations without much effort. I feel strongly about my collection and want to offer plus sized people more choices. Pieces within this line are created with the idea of ease, minimalism, and adaptability.

Paxyshia Yang is a plus size Hmong-American designer and social media influencer based in the Twin Cities. Growing up plus size, the desire to create for plus size people is strong for her. Paxyshia’s designs revolve around simple and versatile pieces for plus size people that help build a strong foundation for their wardrobes. Her line is a direct reflection of what she believes should be in everyone’s closet. As well as designing, Paxyshia has been invited to speak about fatphobia and fat liberation within the Asian community at the University of Minnesota and the College of St. Benedict’s.
